What to Expect When You're In Balkan

Assalamualaikum :)
Semoga bermanfaat!

  1. Expect long journeys
Please, please, please do not expect the same when you're in this area!
    • Do not expect bullet trains, trains are usually slower than buses
    • Tapi yang bagusnya bila sistem pengangkutan tak berapa mantap ni, kos dia murah gila. Hehe.

  2. Dogs everywhere
  3. Border crossing by land is way much easier.
  4.  Make a lot of friends, the locals are really friendly! Although there would be some languange barrier, some would even guide you all the way to the place you're searching without asking for any tips! >.<
  5.  If you would stay longer than 3 days, just buy a local simcard. The charge is not really expensive and some company does not require you to even register!  Percayalah, roaming mahai gila.
  6. The view is magnificent. Pollution free and beautiful landscapes.
Jadi kepada kaki fotografi, DSLR terutamanya, NEVER NEVER forget to bring a tripod and your filters!
  7. If you're travelling during the day, I would say, it would be a waste to sleep the whole journey.Permandangan dia memang subhanallah lawa sangat! Kalau tak minat tengok permandangan pon, borak dengan locals pon best jugak. Sekali tegur, boleh jadi akan berterusan berborak the whole journey!

    ditangkap dalam bas ^0^
  8. Local cuisine are mostly similar to Turkish. :)
  9. Expect cramped roads during summer especially during winter, the roads get easily jammed. Mana taknya, highway pon tak banyak terutamanya Montenegro, Albania. Imigresen lagi lah banyak kereta!
  10. They may not allow you to enter the country for no reason
I am not sure whether the problem only rises when you're a Muslim or its a common problem. I don't think it's a common problem. You get what I mean. Hmmm. Don't spend all your money for the trip! you have a LIFE to go on after the trip. Takkan nak makan pasir & rumput? >.<
    Dihantar pulang
Kalau nak cakap expect the unexpected, nanti macam cliche pulak, tapi takpelah.

Selamatlah!

  1. For food, though makanan sana ala2 Turki, tp the best way tanya dulu apa ade dalam. Di sesetengah tempat, kebab adalah grilled pork!!

Pada aku fruits, veges, and roti are the best option. Perut pun kenyang. haha.
